About the Perry Foundation
Perry Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit charitable foundation that sees a future where the post-acute care community works together to build integrity, efficiency, and service excellence for Nevada’s post-acute care consumers and providers. This will be achieved through community awareness and donor support.
Perry Foundation is committed to providing evidence-based practice education to Nevada’s post-acute care provider and regulatory community. Through this education, the foundation will improve the quality of care and promote consistency and professionalism in the delivery of care. This evidence based practice education is essential to equip Nevada’s post-acute care community with the tools necessary to improve quality indicators, recruit quality personnel, and support a career path for new health care professionals.
Perry Foundation has been offering courses in a classroom setting on a regular basis to professional care-givers in the skilled nursing and acute hospitals arena since its inception. In 2013, the Foundation integrated educational offerings for care-givers in the assisted living / residential facilities for groups communities. In 2014, the Foundation is implementing an e-learning platform that will include live webinars to give care-givers another choice for their educational delivery. All courses are approved for continuing education units by numerous licensing boards, depending on the course offered.
