Lucia Mathis

Lucia brings over 20 years’ experience from numerous health care settings. Upon receiving a Bachelor of Science in Community Health from New Mexico State University she went on to graduate from Texas Woman’s University with a Master’s of Occupational Therapy. Lucia’s first position included providing occupational therapy services to four long term care facilities in two states. She quickly fell in love with the senior population and has since been consistently involved in post-acute care.

Lucia currently resides in Henderson with her family. She has worked in the Las Vegas metropolitan area for 20 years and brings with her knowledge in both pediatric and adult therapy. She has worked in numerous settings including: elementary, middle and high schools, out-patient clinics, home health agencies, rehabilitation hospitals, skilled nursing facilities as well as private therapy. Lucia has experience working with multiple mental and physical disabilities and diseases in their various stages of a person’s life. Years of working across the Las Vegas valley interacting with senior adults from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds and with varied health care needs has given Lucia an understanding and compassion for the challenges today’s seniors face. Her dedication to providing quality care drives her to seek unique solutions to their ever changing demands.
