Founder and President of Quality Medical Imaging (QMI), his companies – all licensed and certified mobile medical imaging companies – are a select few businesses offering portable X-rays, diagnostic ultrasounds, EKGs, as well as, bedside PICC catheter placement. It is the first mobile company to offer bedside PICC line services as well as the first company in the southwest to offer digital x-ray services.
Faselt, who has been working in the medical industry for over 27 years, credits the success of his business to his qualified staff, state-of-the-art equipment and ability to mobilize services to help individuals in need of imaging services at nursing homes, medical facilities, correctional facilities, & even private homes.
With a growing population in the southwest comes health care needs – especially for the senior population. Faselt’s team and its ability to mobilize their services to meet the needs of a growing population of patients who need at home care, keep him & his company one step ahead of competitors.
In addition to operating his company, Faselt is actively involved in a number of professional organizations, including SDMS and ASRT. On multiple occasions, he has served as a guest lecturer for a variety of health classes at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He serves on UNLV’s Division of Health Sciences Advisory Board and has served as an integral part of CCSN’s effort to develop a sonography program, which was implemented into the college’s curriculum seven years ago. Faselt has been one of In Business’s Who’s Who in healthcare in 2005 and 2006, and was named one of Nevada’s Healthcare Hero’s for 2006 by the Nevada Business Journal.
Faselt earned his bachelor’s degree in imaging and education from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas as well as completed the sonography and radiologic technology programs at the University of Iowa. He is certified in radiography, sonography, vascular sonography, abdominal, obstetrics, and neurosonology.
